Since it was a beautiful opp to have some ME-TIME,

i spent the whole day reading the bible...

i'm planning to finish the New Testament

by the end of this week.

this may sound corny,

but the more you read..

the more you realize there's

just so much more to life.

& how earthly pleasures and desires

lead to destruction.

i was moved to tears when i read certain verses

that really stirred up my faith,

especially through this

upsetting phase i'm going through.

papa spoke to me

& urged me not to give up because

God hasn't.

i wept like a baby,

and it's good to know that

God doesn't give up even when

we feel so deeply that we're mere nothings.

the very concept gave me great comfort.

yes, i'm working hard.

& i'll leave the rest to God.

He has never forsaken me,

& certainly never will.

i've experienced God in many ways,

ever since i was young...

And time & again God has surprised me;

they were all brilliant surprises.

i remember that very night, i was 8..

i cried to the Lord saying that i wanted to

do something for him,

& God promised me that it will happen.

Till today He still speaks in an audible voice,

and i'm just so thankful.. i really am.

cos i'm really un worthy,

i simply don't deserve all the good things He

has kept in store for me.

But i'll hold on to Him,

& serve Him with my head hung low,

as a slave.

& if you're going through any dissapointing phase,

take heart! God hasn't given up on you either.

through struggles & pain our faith increases.

Everything'll be alright!
